They are built in China to a very cheap standard, cost peanuts to buy wholesale and really are not up to the job long term. Great if you only want them for limited use or short term.

Are omnipole selling these models then? As per a post above seems to indicate.

I don't know which model Omnipole are selling.  The ones I've seen on eBay are the same as several manufacturers have sent me details of in the past.  Fine for limited use.  You wouldn't want to run your whole business from one of them though (although I bet people are and are managing fine!)

I spoke to omnipole before i bought it they said there was a problem with filling it some of the water can get into parts of the trolley the flo contol i think but they said they managed to seal it.I would of thought if Omnipole were selling them they must be ok.Mike were is the trolley now does it not work at all.I spoke to Andrew Mc Cann to he was a bit cagey but said the trolleys were fine  i will only be using the trolley about 3 days a fortnight.

I just had a guy email me from Ebay about this trolley and wanting to no if i had any bother with it as his has broke after 3 days he said water has got into the flo control when he was filling it now its Knackered and the seller will not give him a refund and says he will have to buy a varistream i think of him for a £100 shocking.Iam going to buy another one  they are down to £180+delivery i love them when i fill it up i use a 10litre bucket with a spout on it only takes a few seconds longer.

Hi The trolleys red hat diving is selling are less than £200. If you buy a budget trolley you get what you pay for. I have had one of these for over a year and apart from changing the flow control it has been faultless. Yes the paint is crap but so what. I saved a few hundred on the purchase. Red Hat Diving will sell all trolley purchasers a discounted Varistream. What more do you want?

John i agree with what you say about the trolley as long as people no that there is a problem when filling it as the water gets into the flo control like i said its easily solved use a bucket.

hi darren

if you run a bead of mastic along the top of the battery & pump cover ,  that will stop

any water getting in

take the backplate off and do a direct connection to the pump darren

just get rid of the pump pipe ,and use jubilee clip to put red hose on, and thread through

the       hole, where the connection was, if that makes any sense to you ;D

hi darren

pair of thin pliers to break the connection to the pump

which also leaked by the way ::) replace with a decent jubilee clip

it is a bit fiddly, but since i put all new connections on , dare i say it  :o

its been fine :o

I use 3 of these trolleys and yes they are cheap but a squeegee blade along the top of the back panel as a gasket solved the water ingress problem. The later models have a better flow control and better sealing. The chassis are too lightweight so I stripped one down and welded bolts in from behind to hold the back panel on with wingnuts making maintenance a lot easier. I still sell these as I think even with the faults they are good value for money.

Read the above posts, surely if you have to make that many mods you would be better off making your own.
I made mine because there is nothing out there that meets my needs.
1] it's easier to change containers than fill them.
2] The attached hose reel makes it as good as a van mount.
3] It can carry 2 poles.
4] all electrics are in their own rain proof box
5]all aluminium or stainless so can't rust.
6] carries 20, 25, or 50 liters'
7] I can stand on it to reach over and unlock gates.

The only bad thing is the standard inflatable sack truck wheels, the tyres are crap, and the build quality of the wheels is absolute rubbish.
I would even change the axle in order to get some decent wheels.Anyone got any ideas?
