Had a customer call me last night, was the first house I'd done yesterday, she said there was still bird poo on the conservatory window and "anyway, the rest look mucky"....

"Oh", I said, "I'm working tomorrow morning so will swing by and reclean them for you"

She seemed totally disarmed by this, and said OK. Well anyway, got up this morning and my van was iced SOLID, left my fan heater at home... yes I know, I should get a hot system... :P.... so called her and apologised and said February's clean would be on me.

"Oh its OK, now I look at them they dont seem so bad, anyway, theres 2 others down my street who want a window cleaner, would you be able to give them a leaflet?"

You see... its the way you tell 'em ;) Turned a complaint into 2 new quotes, made my day!!  :) :)

Stan is spot on with treating them well, oh and when you tell them that you call every 4 weeks make sure you do and dont turn up 8 weeks late  ;)
