Title: Wagtail users
Post by: ftp on January 09, 2009, 01:43:46 pm
What fittings are you using to clip them to your poles?

I have various poles at my disposal and don't really wany to buy another. All my poles have the vikan/superlight brush threads on angle adapters so i need a way of putting the wagtail on - any ideas?

I think you may need something called a cone adaptor. it screws on your pole/angle & leaves a tapered end to push into the wagtail. I've seen them in the past, have a look round some suppliers sites.

they would fit onto a £15 Harris pole. And a very good pole it is too.

Yes you can.

Any method of cleaning windows safely and effectively is good for a window cleaner, don't you agree?

Sorry, but why do you need to fit a wagtail to a pole if you are wfp?

Have i missed something through not being on here regular recently?

Er, ever tried using water fed pole on the insides?

That's what i want it for - higher reach insides, inside conservatory roof, inside of an old peoples home that i clean - i'm hoping to wear a bottle on my hip and just give the flipper pad a squirt now and again instead of humping a bucket of water about. Maybe use my boab although it might make it too wet. Applicator and sqeegie in one.
