Title: School cleaning
Post by: Meadow on January 07, 2009, 06:03:23 pm

Hi all

I have been asked to supply a schedule for school cleaning, ie. what will be done during school holidays, how often etc.

I have never done a school before I mainly do offices, factories and houses.

Also do I pay the cleaners any wages or part wages when no cleaning is done while the school is closed for holiday?

Many thanks

Bob  ???

You will get cleaners that will jump at the chance to work during term time and have the holidays off ie mums of the kids in the school

A friend of mine is a claner in a school. She tells me that she don't get school holls off as school is stil cleaned.
Aparantley thats when the builder and maintence firms get the "big" jobs done and they make more mess than the kids!

Also the school is still open in the evenings for clubs and meetings etc. so she just has to book holls like folk with non school type jobs do

There will be mantenance even if the school is fairly new, kids are very resourceful
