Title: How to defrost your system.

Hi lads and lasses.

Well after reading of systems freezing up totally and thinking, " bloody hell, it must be cold there" it's happened to me in Plymouth.

My whole system is frozen solid. My question, what's the best way to defrost it??

Do I let nature take it's course and let it defrost naturally or is there a way of doing it quickly enough to allow me to get out this afternoon?

I've never had this problem in four years of using wfp so any advice would be welcome.

Hairdrier on the pipe-work, pumps, bring your brushes in and stand them next to a rad, use hairdrier on them if you want.

A close and immediate source of heat concentrated on the frozen areas is whats needed.

Stick a oil radiator in the van and allow it all to defrost slowly.

Thats my plan for today.. ive been looking at the rads for weeks, thinking i wont need one - until last night! My van finally succumbed to the frozen horror.

Still should be raining next week and get mild(er), can get back to it then.
