Title: Any canvassing wanted?
Post by: Scotty Stevens on January 05, 2009, 04:50:54 pm
Hi all,

I hope this is the correct place to post this!

I currently live in Portsmouth, but will be moving to London in a few months to pursue a new career. I've done a lot of door-to-door canvassing for window cleaners - helping out friends, etc - and pride myself on the fact my work rarely blows out. I'm not a pushy salesman on the door, and I only call a job a job if the customer has specifically said, "Yes, I want a window cleaner!" I rarely get any jobs blow out because of this.

Some people have asked me to canvass for them in the new year, so I'm just putting it out there to see if anyone else would like some residential starting now. If so, let me know and we'll put something together :-) I'm happy to forgo a deposit and discuss terms. For me, the canvassing is a bit of fun, meeting new people, that I can do in my spare time whilst working on my career.

I'm happy to provide references. I pride myself on being good on the door, and treating people how I, myself, would like to be treated. It will be me that does the knocking, and also some others (I have had a team help me recently). I hope I can be of help.

Let me know, and have a good week.

Many thanks!

Scotty

It's only residential I'm doing. I was considering commercial, but never did in the end. Done a lot of residential with good results. No hourly rate - I normally charge x2 what ever the quote is. So if it was a quote for £12, I'd charge £24 after the clean...

I would normally charge a deposit for fuel, etc, but I know times is hard ;-) so I'm happy to discuss terms - happy to forgo a deposit...

It was indeed me who had the crazy idea of building blogs - it didn't work out ;-) But have done mucho resi canvassing with nice results. I normally charge x2 what ever the quote is. So if it was a quote for £12, I'd charge £24 after the clean...

I'm movable on all this. I know we've all got to make a living, so I'm happy to discuss.

I have a friend who is just about to go ahead with a £2000. round to be built just south of london.
This will cost him x2= £4000. plus the cost fuel ect for another company.

Would you be able to build this .starting in feb.(the building of round)
How long would this take you.
What would you be willing to charge.
Do you offer replaced properties if they pull out.

Email me please.

Scotty, how far do you travel?

I live in Portsmouth, and I would travel around 1.5 hours drive max, as far north as Guildford/South London, etc.

Any good?

Scotty
