just wondering if it would be worth while using D I only with a TDS reading of 185

you really need a RO with that TDS

My TDS is over 330 and a large bag of resin is gone in no time!

I'm just building my own RO kit up now , so i would recommend going for RO if you can afford it

even if you buy a cheap 100 GPD unit and let it run 24 / 7 into a IBC or 210 L Rain water butts, these will survive the cold, mine has 4 inches of ice on the top of my rain water butt, the water is still 003 ish
