Post by: monkeyman on January 03, 2009, 11:02:46 am
would you still have to add some type of detergent to your water if using pure water to clean trad or would just the pure water be ok also would you still have to detail?the way the weather is at the moment with freezing pipe problems and water freezing on the glass ,may need to do the odd window trad ?

Good question but why would you want to do that?

Buy all the RO/DI equipment just to trad the windows?

Best advice is insulate tank, hoses, change single layer pole hose for twin layer and change any small 'Y' connectors on the pole hose for larger ones to minimise the water freezing at the brush. Don't leave wf poles lying on the ground outside when not in use on very cold mornings, they freeze quickly. Try to keep pump continuously running even when reeling hose back in so the water isn't stood still long enough to freeze if using cold water.
