sorry for all the questions but are these pumps any good and what hose do you use..ie lay flat or solid?

I see Alex has the lay flat hose on offer?

Maybe Alex is the best guy to answer???

Cheers Dave

Standard 1 1/4" hose will offer the best flow rate for transferring water, however Lay Flat hose does offer a solution that packs away much more easily.

If space is an issue then LayFlat would be the answer, but if you have room to coil the larger diameter hose stick with that.

Thanks Alex

Would lay flat hose be a bit more time consuming putting it away ie rolling up and emptying the water out , compared to rigid?

Cheers Dave

Not a bad price, i went for one of these mate

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Power+Tools/Pumps+Generators/Submerged+Clear+Water+Pump+400W/d40/sd3163/p89645

That price is inc VAT, cant remember how much postage was, but i would reccomend the pump.

It chucks the water out with big hose lol!

Cheers Matt that one looks virtually the same..

Does yours fit into an IBC and what hose do you use, lay flat or solid?

Cheers Dave
