I've basically gone full circle. Starting with Superlights through the whole Gardiners range and back to an Xline. Which is more or less  a Superlight or very close to it.
Why? Seems to scrub better than anthing else, holds it's  shape and can be used for anything.

Hold off on the brushes before the month is out all your brush problems will be solved for good trust me on that as well, there are a selection of brushes coming out very soon that will be gaurenteed to change your working day. There will be a brush that works almost if not perfectly on every type of window from standard PVC  to old fashioned leaded lights.

Gardiners by any chance?
I think the compact Superlight might be ok. Don't know what the Ultimate will be like but they both look interesting.

I hear they have some kind of flow controller in the pipeline (or in the hoseline maybe) on the way.

It can vary but mostly I use a non-splayed medium bristle from Gardiners.  It's been unused for years.  I was using one of their sill brushes for everything, but I found that the splay can disagree with some of those stuck-on leaded windows; it can pull off the leaded joints.
Generally, I do prefer a brush with some splay as it saves me from altering the brush angle so much, but the risk of damaging fake leads is fairly high.

I just love the new Bentley brush from Gardiners.

Its so light compared to my Vikan Ovals.

But I still prefer the clean of the Vikan Ovals.  :)

That's the thing Walter, there is no perfect brush for everything is there.

NWH, you've gone out of your way to critise the Neon brush, now claiming the best brush on earth is coming soon... So there was an agenda..?

Doesn't dound like an agenda, just stating a fact. Why would he spend £37 on a neon brush just to fulfill an agenda.

Dont be a Fool man for goodness sake,I got the Neon toilet duck brush then something developed for me almost overnight, all WFPolers if you like me have struggled with the right brush don't waste your money until the New Ultimates are out they are the best brushes they have done thus far,the weights are perfect as is the shape amount of bristles and ability to clean every window out there with ease. They now do the perfect selection of brushes to go with the best available poles end of,no more needing to waste 30 odd quids anymore.
