Title: Good cheap second machine. Any Recommendations?
Post by: ekps on December 26, 2008, 12:04:28 am
I have just got a huge and i mean HUGE contract to clean a shopping centre carpets. I know you still think im taking the p122 but i was phoned on Friday and got the go-ahead last night. Look at this deal

7,000 sqm East Kilbride Shopping Centre offices and other communal areas. I got it by quoting £5k and 5 days to complete.

Main problem is I just bought 2 RDs (refurbished at £100 each) so i have 4 folk (including me) workign 9pm - 6am for 5 days.

You can see from above that i have both machines (smaller rooms) working along with 1 pre-sprayer.

I was wanting to buy a machine for myself to use but i dont want to go for RD (due to the larger areas and stairs)

would this be ok? http://www.lawson-his.co.uk/scripts/details.php?cat=Carpet%20Shampooers&product=29929

Thanks and Merry Xmas to my regular doubters /  secret friends (you like the banter) Mike and co.

Regards and have a nice one!

Alex

Me too, just don't like to boast about it. Got a call from Wembley on the 24th. " We know your the one to use, as we saw it in the stars, just come down on Monday and do the whole place"

They heard I used little 8 " wide machines, which need filling / emptying every 10 minutes, but felt that two of us would manage to clean the entire place by March.

Good money too......................£250, 000, cash.

yeah thats not a bad starting point for price negotiations, however i was offered to clean the houses of parliament, buckingham palace and all the queens houses, i could of had £100,000,000 for the job, but i did it for nothing because im such an honest bloke.
god save the queen

The royal families properties are done by mrs elton john because he always knows where the queens tradesmans entrance is.

 ;D

We watched the The Royle family last night in expectation. But apart from a few classic moments found it well below par.

I agree Mike I was really disappointed with Royle Family2. The daughter face looks really weird, few things on it I thought god thats strange....kicking the big huge turkey across the floor to put in the airing cupboard to defrost, really hygenic. Her sobbing about the rubbish dinner went on a bit, asking if they wanted more soup and put boiling water from the kettle in their bowls. Really strange??????

Eh up lads

Hope you had a good Christmas (spose it still is)

I watched a thing about Black Adder which was a cracking programme. They were saying despite lots of offers and ideas it's probably best left.

John Cleese had the right idea with Fualty Towers, can't believe they only made 12 ish.

Anyway I'm off t buy a RD in the sales. ;D

Can't stand them. Came into my car showroom few years ago, said they were doing 'research' asking about my philosophy on the trade and asked where I got my suits made ::)
