I see a lot of banks cash machines keep on offering me "free cash" :D
Trouble is when I ask for it they try and charge me for it. :'(
Failing that.
I am content. My machines do everything I want them to do. I sometimes have too much work to cope with (but somehow I manage to cram it all in). I have well-paying customers and......
some excellent friends on this forum. :)
-
Defo a new van for me... there's only so long you can keep a P reg Scudo looking good :-\ :-[
-
Same for us Jim, new Van got X Reg Berlingo, need a more space, heating that can be adjusted (only off or full blast) and a stereo! Happy with all other equipment & Would like more customers!
-
An Australian passport and a container!
-
The accountant this week told me that we need to be spending more ;D
*So a new and more powerful HWE machine. get super results with the current one but times move on.
*Longer hoses to go with it
*A second rotary so 2 of us can work at the same time on bigger jobs
*Some decent pre sprayers that last longer than 6 months before the seals etc pack in.
*A phone system that manages to recognise time wasters/sales calls and makes the phone on the other end explode........now I'd pay a lot just for that alone ;D
-

-
Tony
Too right with your blackbird mate they can give it us sports bikes on the straight :)
What about a hyabusa ;D
-
A nice shinny ZZR1400 would be a nice stocking filler. I would settle for a blade though.
Richie.
-
The big engined ones ok on straights, but they look better in your mirrors when flicking a 600 round the corners.
Straight lines are boring, then i would say that living where i do,
Lots of lake roads and mountain passes, sorts the men from the sheep ;D
Hartside pass, backroad from Cumbria to Geordieland is my favorite, cafe at top attracts 1000's in summer.
Andrew

Gave the biking up 22 years ago - last bike was a CBX550 but loved the CX500 I had and also had a few MZ's.
Back in the 70'2 I did motor cycle grass track racing
and then went into training learner riders for Cheshire County Council as a volunteer and at the same time trained riders to pass their Institute of Advanced Motorists advanced test.
Fond memories.
-
Gave up the bikes when i was 24 then had 19 years off till i got 600.
just retired from 15 years as member of international motorcycle stunt team.(motorcycle madmen)
Ruptured cruciate ligament in knee at Nissan Sunderland, then spent 2 weeks in Preston burns unit after getting caught in a fire stunt :o
they where best summers i ever had, in different towns and cities for 26 weekends/bank holidays, met loads of people, great fun.

Charlie

-
Joe
Be good to know how you get on with it weds morn ???
How come you sold your d fusion joe ???
Hi Clinton
The job this morning went well with the Cimex C48.
The carpets were really bad in places - main walk areas, where feet had been at desks, water stains etc.
This was the first paying job I have done with the machine and used Truvox Encap on this occassion as the cleaning fluid.
Good vacc first of all with the BS36 and a Kirby (I had a young lad with me today).
I was really suprised at quality of the finish - not perfect but considering the state of the carpets all was well.
The finance director and another director popped in to see how things were going and they were well pleased with the finish.
Todays job (4 hours on site) paid for our new 32" LCD TV that was delivered yesterday. ;)
-
Just a short wish list
More Cool Cuffs from Hydramaster - a great time saving aid.
6" stair tool.
Rotovac 360 with carpet and hard floor head.
I love my TM so much I wouldnt mind a new Prowler to see me thro to retirement or beyond.
The lowest priced item on my wish list has already gone up in price.
Bought a 2" Cool Cuff only few weeks ago along with Clearwater Rinse from Hydramaster.
Now wanting 3 more 2" and a 2"-1.5" reducer.
A set was £14.95, now gone up to £18.95 - thats about 28%.
If the other items on my wish list go up similarly - I have no chance.
-
Joe
Good to hear it went well for you :)
Could you have just used a dry fusion type clean ???
-
Sorry, I did say why I sold the DF system to John Gregory.
Yes, I am sure the DF or any good rotary system would have provided a adequate finish.
However, be it the DF or the Tex system I used to have, I never got on well with them.
Too much wringing out, too much heat (Tex system), and harder work then the Cimex C48.
I didnt even break out in a sweat this morning, and I can do that just with the thought of work. :D
-
Cheers joe
Giood to know the cimex can do a ood as job then :)
Same here with the texatherm, dry fusion not as bad ::)
-
Ordered a slotted Greenglide for my, as yet unused Ti Wand, so that will become (I hope) my main ppiece of armoury in the new year, just now need some flexi 2" hose to go with it.
Dave.
-
Dave
I only got 2" hose from Solutions but theirs is quite flexible if that is a feature you looking for.
-
Ive been using a plank of wood as a van ramp for a year now then yesterday it broke with the weight of my Raptor so i ordered one from ebay £69+carrige i thought it wouldnt be here until the new year but came this afternoon great bit of kit and folds in two to save room well chuffed.
-
Done the same, Darren, to load the Cimex C48 into the van
Couple of wheelchair ramps makes it all easy peasy.
And they may come in handy in a few years time. ;D
-
don't worry joe ive sorted it for you.
a mobility scooter and a carpet cleaner all in one.
see! i do care. ;D
