you got a pic of that as its a 650ltr im thinking about

You could always go for a 650l cubic tank. More stable than upright and easier to pump water when it gets low.

Have your tank made to what size and shape you want. Also think it is better not to go for a clear tank as if exposed to enough light you can get algae/mould growth inside tank.
Moderators - I have nothing to gain from this company.

400 litre upright baffled- Ford connect-
Regards Kev.

i use a 250 flat and all i know is i could do with a 400 but not fill it as much. if you go for a flat get one bigger than you need and don,t fill it.
-
I've a 400 litre upright at the moment,.. swapping it for a 650 layflat over the holidays.
I do like upright tanks, but you really have to know your stuff when securing them in the van. Even the new layflat tank will be in a cage and bolted through the chassis,.. but I'll feel a lot more comfortable with that behind me than the upright,... even if it does take up half my van.

800 ltr upright tank in a Fiat Ducato.Superb.It was installed by Facelift and is baffled. The van handles superbly when I have a full tank of water or an empty tank. My mate has a Fiat Doblo with a 400ltr lay flat tank. On a back twisty country road when both vans are fully loaded he cannot keep up with me, Thats how good the handleing is. This low center of gravity makes no difference to the handling of a van compared to a well enginered and correctly installed upright tank.
The benefits of a good upright tank is you have a smaller footprint so you have more useable water in an upright tank then a low flat one. gravity helps with improved flowrate in an upright tank and less pressure on your pumps thus extending their working life.
If you have a layflat tank you will here the water sloshing away all the time as you drive.Hit the brakes and it sounds like that the tide is coming in. I have never heard any water sloshing around with my upright tank in 3 years because of the way that it is baffled.
Good Quality Uprights Rule wfp, No contest.
