I do a local petrol garage, windows and signs on a monthly basis and the large canopy twice a year,I do these on a Sunday morning before they open, does'nt matter on the windows but they put the cones out so nobody can drive in when I do the canopy,I get there early when doing this as I can get it done before they officially open, takes an hour to pole it,good money but don't like saying how much I earn on here, the taxman could be about!

I met a father and son,  at Ionics, who cleaned the traffic/direction signs on the Welsh part of the M4.  I know the M4 isn't a supermarket.

The Govt have said that all traffic signs should be cleaned every 2yrs because of the impaired reflectivity , armed with this imformation i contacted the highways dept of my local council, the reply was "we've got people who do that"  the signs round our way incidently are minging !

It has to be said that Ive noted on more than one occasion that the M4 does have a tendency to resemble a supermarket car-park.

Check the small print on your PL insurance - some policies have exclusions on working at petrol stations!
