Does anyone use a control valve or trigger on their pole?
Ive had a c/v on mine for a while but it creates a "loop" of hose and im always tripping over or treading on it !!! >:( ....or its forever catching on everything!
Do the triggers have the same problem?
Dont get me wrong its brilliant for saving water, but its a right pain in the "you know what"!
Do other users find this to be aggro or is it just me?? :o

Yes triggers have the same problem.
I have a tap, but just on the end of the hose, not attached to the pole. This can be a pain when the tap is 20feet away from you and you need to turn it off, but 99% of the time just cracking on and cleaning the windows without stopping!

I used to have a c/v on the brush head but not anymore. At the moment I use a c/v on the hose but will put one on the brush head again to save water and to stop soaking the van when the pole is put in and the valve is not closed properly or accidently turns on when winding in the hose.

I am trying both at present and the the loop is a pain on both. I have had enough of the trigger, if it's fixed on the pole , and mine is, I have to hold the trigger, therefore I haven't got the reach I have with the c/v.

Phew its not just me then!
Like i said the c/v is brilliant for saving water if only it wasnt for that extra loop!!!!
Dont think ill bother with the trigger then!

I use a c/v about 1ft down from the bottom pole clamp and leave a minimum of 2metre loop when pole is fully extended to minimise any trip hazzard. If the loop is too short it's too easy to trip in the looped section of pole hose, but....if the loop is too long and lies sparingly on the ground, then it's almost impossible to trip over. The worst that can happen is you end up standing on the pole hose and reducing the flow of water.
