Title: Employing
Post by: cbcs on December 17, 2008, 01:35:05 pm
Reet, I am going to employ someone soon, and would like a few pointers.

I've had lads in the past that have been casual, odd days here and there. But now its time to take someone on full time.

Whats the best way of doing this? Also I'm stuck on how to work out how much to pay them?

Your advice would be great - good or bad!

Don't take this the wrong way, but you can't be ready to employ on a fulltime basis if you haven't sorted out the answers to your questions yourself. Personally I would sit down over the Xmas break, go through your figures, see what you can afford to pay someone, then break it down into hourly rate, bonus etc etc. You need to look at where you want to be with your business in the future. Good luck
