I use a low moisture system, and if needed, I touch up the walkways with HWE, often using a stair tool for maximum vac.
Turbo dryer and heating on for a quick dry.
Still a scary item to clean ???

In 20 years I've never been asked to clean one, but if asked I would use LM as I would any other carpet.

RDM is a rotary dry master, but not an RX20, it's made by Hydramaster it's lighter and makes carpets dry faster.

In my short time ccing I have come across quite a lot of these. I used to HWE - minimal prespray, agitate then wand very fast at low pressure i.e keep it as dry as possible. Not a fantastic method if the carpet is dirty!!
Got one to do tomorrow. Now that I have superpad charlies I will be using those rather than HWE.

If you are using Solutions go easey on the prespray as they contain high wetting agents ( fine mist at high consentrate and loads of brush stroke then pad off) Works for me every time though I HWE rarther than pad

normally take it outside abd powerwash it then put it in the tumble dryer ;D ;D

Clean one a few weeks ago in a nursing home. Before that hadnt cleaned one in ages. I think people are catching on to what they really are CRAP.
I had to clean the above with HWE due to its soiling level. Cleaned up like new but shrank away about 1/2 inch from the fire place and door stop. Customer ok with it.
Usually Texatherm it.

Alan I know what you mean but some customers will pay for these things to be cleaned so I'm happy to oblige.
