Title: freedom trolley

just recieved my pure freedom trolley can someone please tell me do you charge the battery with the charger plugged into the mains,or charge the charger first and for how long before dissconnecting and plugging in to battery

The charger needs to be plugged into the mains and connected to the battery.

If you charged the charger up first it would be a battery wouldnt it.

Yes,but be very very carefull when connecting and disconnecting the charger to the battery,those connections are rubbish and break very easily,I had those type on my scaeletric when I was small,I am quite surprised they have'nt changed them for more heavy duty connections,change mine myself with proper ones,the green light will come on when all is ready! ;)

I know what you mean by that,

I have to mess about with mine to get them to charge as mine have broken,

Where did you get your heavy duty connectors and are they easy to change?

Go to B&Q mate,take the connectors off battery and charger,get the push fit connectors with the two studs which insert like male and female and just make sure you wire them correctly meaning red to red and black to black,these connectors are white in colour and about 3 inches long when pushed together,you can't miss them,they are in the eletric row and are purchased stuck together as one unit,much better than the original part,no problems now and quite easy to fit,10 minute job! ;)
