hello, please could you tell me after using the wfp system, what do you about the water left on the floor around the house, in puddles. also in freezing weather this could turn to ice, do you leave the water laying on the ground ????. what do you do.??. Are the customers happy with the water laying there,

No not at all when ive done the whole house LJ (who is on this forum) comes behind me with a mop its a little system weve got going

I find i don't make that much mess to be honest but this week i've been carrying a bucket of rocksalt in the van and a light sprinkling over the most vulnerable areas does the trick.
-
Ok thanks for all the advice but has anyone got a sugestion about how you know if the top window sill is clean when you cant see it from the ground?
-
I just get my ladders off the van and have a look.
-
you can buy a helicopter or you can enter the postcode on GOOGLE EARTH ;D ;D ;D

Custies are more likely to be bothered about the ones they can see, when they leave and enter the front door.

Cheapest way is to get the customer to check the sills after she/he moppped the excess water up. One of my customers told me she just gets the hairdrier out for the really really wet bits :o :o :o
-
I place buckets under each window to catch the drips then pour the excess water back into the tank. (Just to keep the environmentalist happy) ;D

enter the postcode on GOOGLE EARTH ;D ;D ;D
thats about 2 years + out of date in some places :P
-
i attach a mirror to the top of pole so i can check if they are clean ;D

what a good idea, you could put submersible pumps in them and hose to take it back to the tank automatically, that would save loads of time :)
-
better still ,connect the pump to the pole , and you have a very efficient trolley system that never needs re filling
;D ;D

You don't really use vast amounts of water that you are leaving puddles.
But yes the ground does get wet and most of it will have soaked away before any frost got to it.
I don't use WFP on doors always do them traditional.
I have not had any problems yet and i think i have been WFP about 4 years.
