I am currently running two 4040 ro membrane's on tap pressure, would i be able to add another, so 3 are running.
-
As long as you have sufficient flow rate. You would need about 20lpm flow rate.
-
currently the two are running with between 35-40 psi, water coming out is 0.11, didnt no if i needed a pump with 3 or not
-
You would achieve a lot more with a booster pump.
Your pressure is really quite low. You would probably double production and reduce TDS out as well.

Andrew what pump would you suggest, it currenty take 8hrs to fill 1000ltr holding tank, that's with two 4040's

Your water pressure must be very good.
A call to June at Gapswater would be a good thing though. If anyone knows her stuff on RO systems it is her.
I often recommend people to Gapswater. Great products at very good prices with superb back up.

Is that with booster pump or mains tap pressure

I have 1 4040 with a 24/7 booster pump from Gardiners and would easily fill a 1000ltr tank in 4 hours at around 6tds.

I have 1 4040 with the booster pump that Andrew has posted, takes around 3.5 - 4 hours to fill 1000 litres.

I have a twin 4040 on a grundfos booster pump
it will produce around 600ltrs and hour @ 100psi.
