Hey guys, Things are starting to go ok and i have now been asked to price up one of the local dentists. I was wondering if any one could give me some help.
The area's to be cleaned are as follows.
Front:
Two tripple pane windows upstairs
Two tripple pane windows downstairs
and a door with nine mini panes.
One of the upstairs windows has really hard access so may have to be indoors.
Side:
One standars door
One double window upstairs.
one double downstairs
And two further doubles downstairs
Back:
One tripple and one double upstairs, one is above a extension.
One tripple and one double downstairs.
One set of patio doors with six large windows.
These are all UPVC framed other than the front doos. Like i say one window on the front you cant get a ladder to due to a sloping roof infront of it. And one window is above a extension. Should i go on the roof, or clean from inside??
This is to be done inside and out on a three/four weekly clean.
I have a price in mind but would like a little help to confirm it.
Thanks again for your help, finding the posts and help very usefull.
Oh and im in herts

How long do you think it will take you to clean it?
Estimate the time taken and base your price on that!

Do you need to produce risk/method and insurance details ?
Also, do you also need to use wfp , with it being classed as a place of work ?
-
No i dont need to produce any risk assesment etc, I went in at £40 to be honest, i thought over a hourly rate maybe i should have done it cheaper, but working it out per window it should have been more expensive. so i thought the size of the job and all of the messing about inside £40 was ok. Hopefully i get a call. Il keep you updated. ;)

Hopefully i get a call.
Don't be shy, wait two-days and call them; you can use an excuse for calling them such as you're just planning your work for the following week... was the quote accepted?... I could fit you in on Thursday.

Yeah me and my partner are looking at chasing it up after a while. About to go out and do a bit of canvassing/ leaflet dropping. Again will be chasing the doors that didnt answer in a few days.

Krave,
why dont you need to produce a risk assessment or insurance details ???
-
Hey sorry I didnt see you mentioned insurance or it didnt register. but she hasnt asked for any risk assesment. And if im to be intirely honest I dont have one. is there any chance you could point me in the right direction to learn? Excuse my ignorance a :-\
After reading, i have had a slight insight into risk assesment, i did describe a few things in my quote, but not to the extent that a risk assesment seems to be made. does any one have a template or any idvice or help on the matter. would be very good to have for future reference. Save making the mistake again.
