I clean this house, all not greatly painted penny stamp windows, and ive tried all different ways but they just look a mess after being cleaned wfp it dosent matter how much rinsing i do,the paint just runs,i cant c a way round it other than going back to trad, but the house is a crap price and the blokes really tight and awkward and i no he wont be happy with a price rise(if i was to go back to trad) and i cant really drop it off as i clean either side! ive done it about 3 times now and its never good i just keep saying lets wait to c if it gets any better and i no it wont,im just dreading going back!

Not every customer will like this, but tell him the truth. If his frames have heavily oxidised paint, then there's just nothing that you can do to avoid spots and runs.

you'll have to tell him to put his hand in his pocket and get a painter to do the frames cos hes neglected them for so long

i have a house that ive done for yers now, it still happens, i guess it allways will

something i always do with painted windows is wet my finger and rub on paint to see if it comes off (the paint that is not my finger) i remember doing this once and my finger was white with paint told customer who explained she had had special mix made up as traditional colour at great expense i explained no use as will wash off in rain. she took offense, but the house was on cliff top overlooking bristol channel so i knew she was in for a big shock. the reality is that maintenance is the householders responsibility not the windwo cleaners :-\
