Title: Ledgease or Contour Pro?
Post by: ftp on December 06, 2008, 09:25:04 pm
Looking for one or the other for insides where the glass is deep within the frame. Contour is about £25 and uses Ettore channels with clips, the Ledgease is cheaper and doesn't need the clips? I'm used to Ungers s channels and know nothing about Ettore. Any advice welcome.

I love the Contour pro as you can lock it at 0 degrees. That makes finishing high windows w/ deep sills on the insides a breeze.

Which channels do you have to use with the contour pro? Do you need those end clip thingies? What do they do?

The pro-curve from Mr Longarm is very good for deep sills,it takes a bit more mastering but is very good.

A quick mod - so you can use them without clips.

I used to love the Procurve and for deep sills I would use the ledger but the Wagtail does both jobs better IMO.
