Title: TDS meter reading

Hi,ive a new set up with pure freedom 300GPD system,includes 10"DI vessel, only refilled  water tank approx 10 times prob 2000-3000  litres,TDS meter initally read 000, now reading 004.Is this normal after just a couple of weeks use?what is the max reading i should use the water at?ive been told up to approx 8-10 is this correct. cheers dave ;D

yup that about right. I was told anything below 7 is ok to get spot free results.

A 10" DI vessel holds about 700ml of resin. If your RO is sending the water out at about 004-005tds then you should expect to get about 2800 litres from it before the reading rises from 000ppm each time.

that sounds about right then,wonder how long/how much water will be made before the resin will need changing, ill keep checking with TDS meter , thanks for your advise ;)
