Hi, Has anybody got an example of their rain guarantee? If the wording was right I think this would be a useful document to use. Thanks.

I've never offered one in writing but I have verbally.
I just explain that regular rainfall prevents a build-up of dust in the atmosphere so generally speaking most rain isn't that dirty. However, if they are dirty tomorrow, give me a call and I'll re-do them for free.
This wouldn't present too much of a prob for me as most of my work is close together.
It does seem to put the customers mind at rest if they inquire as to the point of cleaning windows in the rain or if rain is forecast.

Same here. When i switched 3 year ago i decided i will work in all weather, if i turn up i clean them. Some would not have it so they were dumped. I've told my custys if they are not happy if they phone me by the following night i will sort it. Not 1 so far has phoned or moaned.

i offered a rain guarantee and still got "no thanks" from some who have now been dumped they are the ones who are now on the phone asking "where are you"?

I do not have a rain guarentee as such but I do make it known that the customer has 24 hours to call if there is something not right and I will endevour to rectify it if I am able.
Dave.

we offer a guarantee on all our work. if their not happy phone us within 24 hours and we will rectify it. we have never had a phonecall due to working in the rain either.
