Bought somes wagtails with the flipper attatched the other day for inside work.
All I can say is that I love them.
Took a little getting used to but well worth it.
Less mucking around and fast. Saved loads of time.
Am now considering using them on bottom outside work instead of wfp.
This could be quicker imo.
Anyone else use them?

Got any pics (or treads) that I could look at to get to know what your talking about?
All I get is little birds and a dolphin, in my mind! ::)
-
Ive had my wagtail flipper a couple of weeks now got to say its one of the best tools ive ever bought, it so much faster trad
On some windows downstairs its faster than wfp 8)
very impressed

8) Thanks, and thanks for another site to add to the list of w/c suppliers :D
Can you fit these in a bob?
no doubt someone will tell you ;D
-
well i've looked on windowcleaningwarehouse and read the text, but I don't understand how it works?
-
It's an all in one single pass tool, I have been using them for years, and have loads of postings on here recommending them. I can do the whole of the insides on a large pub/restaurant, on one mug of water poured into my b.o.b, they use so little water so make so little mess. Best bit of trad kit ever.
-
Dai do you have the Combi? Looking at this one it looks like you wet the glass then flip the applicator over to squeegie off - i may be wrong. Although on the site it does say mop and squeegie in one go.
-
Its not blatant advertising so you can post the link, its just suppliers and fan boys who cant.

If you want videos or info, go to the the blog below in signature & input wagtail in the top left. Best viewed with IE!
I don't know if that's allowed or not - Dave?

This is the combi one, how do you use it, we have a few pubs that we clean the insides on every two weeks, it sounds ideal, I just don't understand how you use them ??? ???

What about replacement rubber - will they only take the Wagtail or will they accept any manufacturer?

take any brand of rubber

Have not fathomed how to change rubbers yet.
Just type wagtail flipper on a search and you should go directly yo the Ausi site where they come from. Good vids to watch. Better than u tube I think.

Wet the blade and it just pulls out, there is a little nipple in the centre that keeps the rubber in, it's no more than a punch indentation really, wet the new rubber before replacing.
-
I heard on here that they take normal rubbers aswell.

That`s good to know the red 1 looks a bit cheap and nasty.
