Post by: keith b on December 05, 2008, 08:07:02 pm
Hi all,

Has anyone had any success with removing hardwater stains from bathroom sink work tops?,.............the worktops are the same as what you would see in kitchens!

Hi

Depends how long they have been there?

if they are light stains then you can use a limescale product (Viakal) and a scourer, use the scourer lightly.

If it has hardened back into limestone you will need to scrape it off with a window scraper or you can use a diluted acid solution (always use gloves and goggles)
