Got me new van at long last just starting to get things together in the back of the van but still not 100% yet and have so many ideas on which way to go. reason for the bigger van was to run 2 systems, But now im thinking of going for a all singing all dancing 2 man 650 ro system (so i can do away with my static system in the garage). Idea pics would perhaps help me decide with what routes to go.

my vivaro when it first had a tank installed. since then the battery has been removed and it has 2 reels with lots and lots of junk round in the back to ;) ;D

Stick with a static system in the garage P&R

its a pure freedom tank and cage and i got it off ebay never been used for £250 :D hows that for a bargain ;)
i have a static and putting 0ppm straight into the van tanks. so to get this system in my second van cost me under £600 :)

Hi Steve,
Just looked at your website,noticed you have a Transit too,I am thinking of putting another van on the road,are they better than a Vivaro.

i prefer the transit yes. i was swaying towards going for the transit next time but if i get brand new van i might go for another vivaro as i would have the 3 years warranty with it. the vivaros look better but i think but the trannys are more reliable IMO

Cheers for that,they do look better but did hear about Transits rusting very quickly and Vivaros gearboxes :-\

if you go for a used transit then go for a bt one. low milers and good service history. mine was an ex bt and the only thing to go wrong on it was wear and tear on the brakes and tyres. my vivaro has had a new head gasket and a new alternator in under 12 months and it only has 42k on the clock

I thought having a all singing all dancing jobbie in the van with a auto shut off valve would be easier then me filling up me tank from the garage every night. ???

I have a Pure Freedom 500 litre system installed in the van but find it easier to run the hose from my static system because I find it less strain on the battery and fills quicker,I can have the mains running into the back of the van via portholes but I need the battery running for the booster pump within the van as my preasure is low,takes about four hours to fill with a 4040 membrane,it is easier to leave on over night etc. but can fill from my static system within ten minutes,I just have to keep an eye on it so it does'nt overflow but when I do use through van system it automatically switches off when full as the auto shut off stops the pump when the small ball cock thingy is forced up from the water,if I'm going out for a while I stick it through the van!

how are yr poles attached to the inside of roof?

Its much better to have a tank in the garage because is making pure water when your working, so if you run out in the day you can pop back and when you come home you just fill up in 5 or 10 mins for the next working day and you done! easy ;)

Now thats something I never thought of!
Of course, if your using your only source of purifying in the van ... it can't be making water at the same time! (can it?) :-\
A friend of mine used to use customers water, topping up as he went! :o
I don't think my customers would like that! ;)

how are yr poles attached to the inside of roof?
To down pipes chopped then screw brackets to in roof (being carefull not to go through the roof)
