Title: back at it again
Post by: *window king on December 04, 2008, 09:46:22 pm
I used to do it in the early 90's before i did cabbing and was on 350-400 pound per day working 9 till 3. im thinking if i set up again i should be on minimum 600 per day maybe even 800.
im going to buy a round over the next few weeks. im thinking of a 12 grand round. anybody selling one?  also i cant afford to pay any more than 2 grand for the round. so if anyone has a round going cheap look no further. I dont want to do wfp. trad all the way as i believe you can earn a lot more with less outgoings.
this time next year i plan to be verey verey rich just like you guys on here. since losing my liscence i will need to take on a driver. how much do you recomend i should pay him per day getting me from job to job? i was thinking 30 pound cash in hand. i will need to buy a car for him. an old mondoe estate or something cheap as just starting again and have to buy the round also. gona be tight these first few months but soon ill be raking it in. thanks in advance for your advice on the round etc

I know I shouldn't but ....

If you were on £350/£400 per day in the early 90's then pray tell, why did you go cabbing? Hmmmmm?

Note to self: "Do not feed the troll, do not feed the troll, do not feed the troll - repeat and rinse ad infinitum...."  ;D

if you did this job years ago , then you would know you cant buy a  12 k round for 2.. in fact it you would be on a roll if you could buy a 2 grand round for 6k.

Thought Mr Merson and Jonah may have popped on to help you...they are always looking at trying their hand at different business opportunities... they may be on later to help you..Thats if he is back from spain yet.:)

MMM I had a dream last night about earning £1,000 per day and having a 3mil house! lol
My uncle owns a refridgerating business in Cardiff and supplies climate controlled rooms to Walls, Findus etc and he only earns £3,000 per week!!!
"wants to earn £600-£800 per day" Traditionally!!
Bloody hell guys you should see the size of this pigeon flying past my house! oh its not a pigeon its a pig lol

That all?  the muppet, he should clean windows
ive done that by tuesday
:)

Ive got a pal who gardens though, and he does literally earn stupid money, he travels to his rounds from nearly 150 miles away where he lives now, and just works mon tues and goes back home, one week he does 1400, and another week 2500, i cant remember whether he does that once or twice a month but either way its a tremendous amount for 2 DAYS !!! He has a helper but he is only paying 2 days wages so still making big bucks, and gets 3 days off haha
Hes been doing it for 20 yrs though and is so so fast its untrue, he doesnt stop for about 12 hours, and his lad the same, plus its alot of commercial and very compact residential, another friend of mine set up doing the same recently as his building work dried up in recession, and he is doing 250 a day every friday now just cutting grass - theres money to be made in it, im thinking of offering the service to my custies, can just whip out the mower then on 1 day a week and cut their grass for an extra £15 + depending on size obviously, per house

On your own??
Anyone who earns £2,000 per week are technically millionaires.

eh?? itd take a decade, and youd have to not spend a penny, so say you could save 25%, still take 40 years to gather a million squids, ps my comment about 3000 was a joke :)

if your earnings are more than £100,000 per year you are technically a miilionaire.
I'm afraid 1 window cleaner CANNOT earn £3,000 in 2 days on their own!

Not every week of every year thatd be much less , but im sure someone has done it on a job at some point..

And nearly everyone on here does that in an hour :)

The reason behind the technical millionaire is the fact there isnt £1,000,000 but the annual earning equals that of the interest you would get from 1 million over a year.
£1mill = £100,000 per year
