Had to clean the insides of a large house today, looked simple, gave them a quote for outside and in and the owner nearly dropped dead. I explained it was because they took so long. Set to work and my god it took me at least two hours to do the insides maybe more! I'm beginning to dislike them more and more.
Got talking afterwards and it turns out someone came out to clean them and refused to touch them?

I always found that when I was trad only you could never charge enough for georgian work in comparison to ordinary casement windows, ergo many window cleaners leave georgian and leaded well alone.
With outside windows, now I'm WFP it is plain sailing, but insides are a different matter altogether!! Yo just have to grit your teeth and slog on as best you can... :-\ :-\

My worst nightmare was a big posh place that was built in 1912; during the 'Arts and Crafts' style; so the owner informed me.
Anyway, the outside was simple enough with WFP, lots of high Georgian windows; but the inside kitchen windows were a complete nightmare; they hadn't been done in years; and then there was lots of other access problems.
In the kitchen I ended up with a seven foot A frame ladder ON TOP OF THE KITCHEN WORK SURFACES (all granite and I didn't feel safe doing it) to reach the top Georgian panes; and even then I was at 'full stretch'. I couldn't believe the amount of grease on them; they obviously hadn't been cleaned in years and it was a complete bugger. And there were lots of them!
The customer was a nice bloke though, paid in cash, an ex army-officer who'd served in the same places I'd served in.... but I never went back.
I believe there's no such thing as a tough job as long as it's not under-priced; but this was a complete bar-stewart and to clean this place again, I'd want double what I charged him; but he baulked at the price I gave in the first place and he jokingly insinuated that I'd added extra because he was an ex-commisioned officer!
