Title: YEARLY TAKINGS !!
Post by: terrymaloy on December 02, 2008, 11:11:38 pm
Be interesting to find out how other carpet cleaners have faired throughout 2008 ?

Personally, mine are down. Granted they're not gonna repossess my house just yet...but for those who are "up" maybe you'd like to share with us your secret.

Oh, and please be honest when voting.

We are up on last year, but it is presently very unpredictable, it is either a feast or a fammine.
Last month phone never rang for a 13 day period in middle of month, yet was still up on last year.
This week have picked up several properies to full clean , plus carpet clean, and are all £3-500+
Not sure what it will be like in Jan/Feb, we are usually busy doing holiday properties, hotels etc.

Living in hope (still)
Andrew

Ask me at the end of December, I have only a few free slots left before Xmas eve now.  Refreshing change from half of Autumn when it was a bit slow.  Opposite way round to some, so I see!  Funny old game :)

I'm very surprised, I've had more time off than a sick note but still managed the same turnover probably boosted by a great start to the year, I am booked to Xmas and don't work between that and the New Year unless pushed but up by less than 1% :o
