Might sound weird to post this one given the present freezing weather, but I saw my GP this morning about a weird raised mole on my arm that had been growing , and changing colour to white since it appeared a few months ago. I wasnt gonna go, but the missus and kids kept pestering me about it, {you know what us guya are like}
Anyway the GP examined it and asked if I

Continued . Dont know wht happened there it got posted in error.
Anyway I said yeah it had got exposed to sunlight in the summer as i was a window cleaner. Thank god she said it was not malignant, and was just a dried up mole, but I should always wear suncream. I am quite dark skinned so I never did put lotion on my arms but I tell you what I bloody well will from now in the summer.
I asked if I could cut it off , she said yeah if I was carfull and sliced it off. Poo scraper comes to mind, if the blade is steralised.
Guys no kid wear sun cream, secretly I was cacking myself about this one.

I went to the quacks a couple of weeks ago something similiar, thought it could be dodgy, its a sebhorreic wart apparently, anyway nothing to worry about but I had been worried, theyre gonna cut it out.
Skin cancer is rarely fatal if dealt with promptly, even malignant, but still dotn want it.

Wrong topic troll, we're talking about cancer and sun protection here. Keep up!

my dad cleaned windows for many years and ended up with skin cancer on his arms and face,
Wasnt fatal was it stan?? or was it dealt with??
I rarely use protection in sun but tan even in winter like someone said before if in bright sunlight, should be more careful really

I forgot to tell you that I asked the GP what does a worrying possibly mole or wart look like, as I had no idea, and she said anything that changes in colour, and looks mottled, bleed or itched and had got to about 1cm in size.
Dont take this as read, but this is what I was told by the helpful Doctor, so if you have any worries about such things go and get it checked out. I am well relieved
She said that GP's are happy to look at any moles, and actively encouraged people to come in and have them checked if they were worried.
