Trying to build a website....(with great difficulty)...
and i have no con roofs to do before xmas.... can i nip on to a site in america ::)... lol
and borrow theres... or is it illegal..etc etc.
Thanks.

well most of mine was done by me but when i needed to do the gutter section i was kindly allowed to use someones from wfp training , so if you want to use some of the before and afters on mine im sure that would be ok.

All are mine bar the sill clean, feel free to borrow ;)

Most WC sites that i see are mostly copied pics.. Some obviously have been made available by the originators.
However my new site will contain purely my own pics when i have enough to show, they will also be watermarked so that no one else can use them and pass them off as their own.
Took my camera out today for some cons roof, and car port roof cleaning jobs, hope they look good when i get them on the pc.
Will be carrying my camera about more often now, even taking photos of regular custy's houses with their permission of course..

Hi
Be carefull when taking other peoples photos because of copyright law. I used a photo from another site when i first built a website. I was contacted by a company called Getty images and fined £2000.00 for copyright infringement. All ways get the persons permisssion to use the phot.
Thanks
Karl

I had the same thing. I used a picture of a telephone and Getty tried charging me £2300 as i didnt have the licence for that picture. They sent me a print out of the picture of the phone on my site. I spoke to my solictor (free with FSB) and they said that they have had alot of this in the last couple of years and just plead ignorant with them. Getty have a piece of software that scans websites all day, then they match up the pictures and if it is one of there pics and you dont have the licence, then they can fine you. After alot of twoing and frowing, taking the pic off my website, i got away with a £600 fine. So be careful.

Really :o wow
I might start fining the people who used my pics

It was scary when i got the letter. As i said the printout had the phone pic on my site with the time and date that it was scanned. The letter was 2 pages long talking about the laws that had been broken, certain date the money had to be paid by, and they would proceed with a court hearing in London. Letter was sent from the US.
