For leather upholstery I've only ever used Prochem leather cleaner and had some very good results.
It's ease of use has made me not try any other leather cleaning methods.
Just wondered what some of you other guys use and what methods you use for cleaning leather upholstery.
;D

If you're happy with your results then you could continue to use that product. On the other hand, if you want to SAFELY clean and restore leather you would be wise to attend the training offered by the industry trainers.
There are two who are well known on here and others.
If you just wont to remove the surface soiling from pigmented leather that's easy, BUT it's also very easy to remove more than you intended.
Both F C and L T T offer excellent training, one's based in Harrowgate, but do courses elsewhere the other is in Newcastle

One in Harrogate that's pretty good it's only about 30 miles away.

I also bought prochem leather cleaner, but have since been told it's no good and after trying them side by side with the furniture clinic cleaning products, I have to agree.
Saying this, I have very limited experience with cleaning leather, but the F/C product made easy work of cutting through what was a very grubby suite and the prochem product made very hard work of it.
Also agree about the training, a priority for me come the new year.

Lucky you I was 250 miles to Harrogate and about 170 to Newcastle

is Prochems leather cleaner a clean & protect in one bottle?
I use FC stuff at the moment, does an excellent job.
-
Prochem sell a leather cleaner and leather conditioner as seperate products, although the cleaner does state on the label that it cleans and protects.
I used to use them and thought they were good, until i went on the LTT course in Harrogate and started using there products, better results half the work.
That training course was the best £35 i have ever spent on training. They even show you how to do analine re-dyes.

John,
I can let you have a sample of the LTT cleaning and protecting products so you can see for yourself the difference from Prochem. I am out and about all week so probably around your area at some point.

Give us an address Mark and I'll buy some.
Did a 3 piece in Bradford 2 weeks ago and this guy had a cream leather suite dumped in his conservatory didn't want it.
Can't remember if he said he was going to dump it when he got round to it but he defo didn't want it.
Thinking of ringing him to take it off his hands for practicing on.

His mate's an ok guy too.
Where you get your supplies, off t'internet or another local firm?
His prices are the same as in the product catalogue so not far out.
Ah Sunday, my favourite night, never book anything in for Mondays before 10.30.
Will work into evening before do that.
