If you want to use it at 25ft then simply slide off the largest section, fit the second end-cap and you have a 25ft pole that is about 3mm narrower than the last pole, weighs about 140g less than the last pole and is about 2" shorter when closed.

I dont think the new section will fit the 25ft as alex mentions the base section is 3mm thinner which must make the other sections thinner but i could be wrong
