Title: anyone heard of these?
Post by: Richy L on November 28, 2008, 05:36:27 pm
... blockpavingsealerlimited.co.uk

I recieved a letter from them the other day.
They seem cheap, maybe a bit too cheap.

Ive priced up advanced sealing solutions but their prices are much higher.

Has anyone used these new guys?

ive got about 1400m2 to seal.
Ive been given the go ahead for the pressure washing but the sealing should go ahead in Jan.

This company we're been talking about will be charging £59 (inc. VAT) with free delivery = £1000 (ish)

How much does your local company charge?
I think they will be going for a matt finish

Mark,
How hard is Tarmac Restoration?
Is it just a case of light pressure wash, then brush it on? or is there more to it?

hi ricky, it like what up said light washing then cutting in around the edges then roll the product on .

after washing go over the area with a blower to remove stones etc. if the srface as gaps in you could spray it on to fill gaps then go over with the roller.

think there bringing out a new btb where you can roll it on after you have cleaned while the surface is wet so you can do the whole job in same day  :D :D :D :D

make sure you find out how many coats of sealer you will need before buying.  i dont do sealing anymore as its too much hassle. :'(

i have one good contact. I get most of my commercial work through him.

domestic is pretty dead. I have a couple of likely jobs in the next 2 months, but nothing set in stone yet.
