I keep reading on here that it ruins car if washed with pure water...
i wash my van with it....
is it the di resin thats the problem, ?
as i only use pure water through my RO. is this ok then ?
Gary.

been doing my vans with it for years - no problems
-
Purely pouring it onto it may not do, but brushing it in will take the polish off, and unless you polish it again afterwards then it's wide open to fading and corrosion.
Also if you've got any rust spots or corrosion it will make it worse over time apparently.
-
I think thats its fine for the paint, it just quickens the on set of rust.
Need a expert in chemistry here...

been using it on my motor for about a year when i brought it , was my motor at-least once a week and add polish once a month i have had no problems it seems to be cleaner than ever
-
i wash my van every week with it, use ro water and some wash and wax,
then i rinse it with ro water , comes up a treat.

If you use wash and wax with it you'll be fine.
You're protecting the polish with that, and the water isn't pure then anyway.

i dont think pure water damages paintwork , the finish will dull over time much the same as if you use just tap water ,
by adding wash and wax, then rinsing with pure, it leaves a wax film but no dirty spots,
you could wax it after, but thats too time consuming , and the results are the same

Not quite. ;D
Wash and wax isn't like putting proper wax on.

i use a teflon wax, and pure water to wash it you can see by the photo it dont cause no damage this has been done for over a year on this motor and before this it was used for a year on my other motor with no problems
