Title: Wheelie Bin Cleaning
Post by: OWC on November 23, 2008, 10:35:36 pm: Does anyone know about wheelie bin cleaning? I am looking to set up a small round to fit in with my window cleaning. What sort of pressure washers do I need? Where's the best place to buy them from?

Post by: steve jamieson on November 24, 2008, 05:41:37 pm: You should be aware that there is a little more to it than just washing the bin out on the side of the road ,as this could incur up to 20k fine from the water board , You need to clean the bins in a unit that collects and recycles the water , the waste water then needs to be discharged to a foul sewer . No chemicals/waist water must go into a drain or ditch.

You have to take it away.

A decent new unit will cost you around £12k.
Second hand £6 to £8k unless you can find a home made one!

Is it expensive to take waste to council disposal???
