just times the amount you want a hr by the time you think it will take you

££ x Hrs = £        some will say to much depends on your Area.

just for the front on a 1 st clean without balcony, i reckon 1 hour max to pole the front so £50, inside 1 hour per floor on the front, it sounds like a days work on the inside, so i would charge day rate

£250

would do the whole front in half hour outside.....( i do one similar and it takes exactly half hour.)... so an hour for both sides

i couldnt say for the insides.

but bear in mind , the one i do is cleaned every month , so not that dirty.
maybe an hour on each side... first clean.

£250

Is your price based on day rate or hourly rate?

i think i would charge £200, as it is every month, and call it a days work for 1 man.
outside easy wfp, inside potential pain in the rear.

i would reckon on a days work for 1 man .
But that is a guess as we cant see the insides and this is where problems will arise with furniture, blinds and people in the way. the other thing is the windows are tall and you might need a pointer or a step to reach the inside top panes in each window section . If your unsure go back for another look maybe it would be a pane (sorry bad pun) in the neck to get wrong.
I do a big country house with large sash windows similar to these the outside takes 1hr the inside 5-6 hrs .
   G

p.s will you squeegee the insides or spray and rag them?

And running in condensation in the winter inside.

Doing the job doesnt bother me,these type of windows do take a long time i no,
But i just want to put a realistic price in as this could lead to a lot more work from the same company,as you say you get 1 quote if they are happy you get more work,if you get it wrong then they get more quotes and you end up losing out on all the other work.

I reckon its about 5 hours work, but a very hard 5 hours work!! and I have one very similar that I do every other month pictured below with my harris modular pole with a reach of 35ft! So it really comes down to how much you want it, but I would not want to do it for any less than £250 as there are far easier ways to earn your money!! :)

I think you should have erased the name on the building as others may now be after quoting.

Groundhog - how do you get your harris pole to reach 35 ft?
I have converted a harris for domestic and it is brilliant.
Would love one for higher work as well.

Regards,

Andy...

Hi Andrew, I have used the base sections from 5 Harris poles to make a modular pole, with pieces of the middle section cut off to join them together, and a very lightweight brush on the end. I'm going to try a fishing pole next as it will hopefully be lighter, but for now this works well for my higher work!  :)
