Does anyone do hard floors? Just wondering what I could do with my tm and what else (aside from training) I might need to get into this?

I do natural stone floors, i use a rotary scrubber and a wet vac.

Dave... .you've probably walked over hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of Amtico and Karndean between the front door and the carpets you've been cleaning for the last X years.
It isn't rocket science to maintain these types of floors, and can be priced well due to the ratio of the cost of your work to the value of the floor.
I've just quoted a couple of Amtico jobs. One is 35m² just been laid, quoted £270-ish to give it a quick clean and a few coats of Amtico dressing.
The other is 60m² of 6 year old flooring, never been sealed and in a right grotty state. That one is gonna set them back over £400.
The small floor cost the customer 6 grand to have laid, the bigger one who knows, probably between 8 and 12 grand if they replaced it like-for-like.
I've cleaned carpets for both customers and they are more than happy with the quality and work ethic I bring to them, so I'd be shocked if I don't have these jobs booked in by the middle of next week.
One problem you have with hard floor work is that customers don't seem to hold the same perceived value as they do with carpet cleaning. You really have to sell the benefits to get the job.
My "clincher" is this: If an Amtico floor is not sealed, it will eventually become scratched and scored, and suffer from ground-in soiling that may not be possible to remove 100%. The only restoration possible is to clean and seal it but it won't look as nice as if it had been sealed from day 1... so you may as well start now.
