yeah i had that before - whilst i was doing an inside clean standing over a computer - managed to grab hold of it, before it went all over it, nearly shat myself.
I use a leather belt instead of the quick release things now.

was in back of van and i picked it up and i think it snagged on something. I then found this little bit of plastic on floor of van and i was looking around wondering what had broken on van. I then went to clip my belt Doh! :-[

I bought an Unger belt last Friday.
Wondered what the "D" rings were for, and then found that they are for braces - what a load of rubbish, I certainly don't need anything like that, thank you!
Did the last job on Wednesday; it was their first clean, and the husband asked if he could look at how all the WFP gear fitted into the van.
We walked out to the van, or rather he did - I got halfway down the front path, and the belt slid straight down to the ankles - how embarrassing!

I was just thinkin about belts today.......I got the unger quick release belt, but sometimes it does just unattatch and falls round me knees. Embarassing and a pain the the ass, especially what the backpack is on. Another downside i've found is when the backpack is on, it can put pressure on where it connects and can press into my back which can be quite uncomfy..........Lookin at the good old fashioned, tie a knot ones.
