Title: Xmas clean newbies
Post by: simon knight on November 20, 2008, 04:29:21 pm

Having been conned a couple of times last year...clean windows for 1st time in December and never get hold of "custy" again I've decided that this year I'm going to not accept any more new customers that can't wait until the new year for the 1st clean. I'm thinking about the cut-off point being the last week this month.

Any thoughts?

not draft up a simple agreement for 1 years sercice? only use it for x-mas cleans if you like but it means the people wanting their glass done before x-mas are happy and you are pretty much guarenteed 12 months work

mabie too much hastle but then again new customers seem hard to find.

I offer one-off cleans, but I charge double what the monthly cost would be, on new customers who say they want a regular cleaner, I still charge double for the 1st clean and if they cancel they are barred for life, for lying.

I have decided not to take on any new cleans 'just' before Christmas but then again I have not been asked to do many anyhow ....but I am looking for time off for my family and I.

Cheers
Dave.
