Make sure your pressure washer pump is suitable for salt water!

I did a weeks pontoon washing using salt water, just cleaned the filter every hours and washed out with fresh water. They usually do it themselves but were short staffed. They were a pain to deal with, insurance was a pain, I was ***** cold, bored, sick, fed up and shot upon by the seagulls.

Salt water pumps (marine) need to be made of `polypropylene` materials,....otherwise you will wear out your pressure washer very quickly (irrespective of filter changes and a wash through).

If you want to do marine work,.......hire a trash/marine or salt water pump for the day, and wear skins & goggles.
