				is it possible?  ;) ???

I dont see why it wouldnt work but im no expert on it, surely if one hose was off the other would just carry on and vice versa, only thing i would think is you'd probably have to have the varistream turned up more
Try it, only way you'll find out   :)

2 pumps will draw double the amps,... can the varistream handle that without melting?

Just use two reels,a 100 psi pump is more than capable to run water on two reels, just make sure they are the same lenght and thickness! ;)

also make sure your jets are the same, as pencil on one and fans on the other, as fan jets need different pressure than pencils, one pump is enough.

				Why just buy another 1.

No it does not work.I have rigged up two pumps so if one pump packs in at the push of a button on my remote control the second pump kicks in ,no hassle no replumbing bits and bobs .but if I switch both pumps on together, both keep cutting in and out, working singluarly  on their own via the varistream all is ok .To have both pumps running together you will need 2 varistreams.

				Thanks for replies,
if you use 2 pumps and varistreams..... and one hose outlet from the tank, of course... its split so the water transfers to  each pump?..... do  the pumps draw equal amounts of water?
Gary.

				Hi Gary.
Just T off from the outlet hose to the first pump inline and you wont have any probs.
Just a tip.  Always mount pumps as low as possible.
Cheers
