Had a gutter clean this morning with the vac then wash down soffits etc. Had the man flu all week so that didn't help. The house was end on with very little space either side so the vac pole couldn't be rested on the gutter. First six feet and the sludge coated the insides of the pole and the flexible vacuum hose, everything doubled in weight. Then on to washing the outsides - really hard work because the angles were so steep. I'm now knackered with arms like popeye! I can't do this at retirement age. :-\

Get it all done now, and then take on some young gun to do the donkey work! ;)

I don't think many donkeys work that hard. ;D Gutter cleaning wfp can be quite close to what's physically comfortable sometimes.
Got home and my mate popped round - he was well chuffed he's had a pay rise and with overtime he can take home £330. His wife though has just been put on a four day week so can't moan too much i suppose.
