Title: Pole caps
Post by: ftp on November 14, 2008, 05:44:48 pm
I want to put a metal cap on the bottom of my Sl-X does anyone know where to find them? I tried googling butt rings but it wasn't very pleasant!

Brodex do them:

shop.brodexbms.co.uk/products/pole-end-butt-protector-caps (http://shop.brodexbms.co.uk/products/pole-end-butt-protector-caps)

The one for the 18' will probably fit.

Don't like them!  The very first water fed poles I had 8 years ago had them on and whilst they lasted forever, they had a nasty habit of scratching cars, particularly when they become a little used and sharp edges form.

Pity i'm not employed in the print trade any more - we had an engineer who would turn one from a nylon block if i bought him a coffee.
