Title: WFP Suppliers
Post by: Klean07 on November 14, 2008, 04:32:13 pm
I was wondering were the best place is to buy wfp equipment like poles, tanks, pumps, brushes etc. There are lots of suppliers around at moment but I find that some of the prices that some of them charge for various items are way off the mark compared to other suppiers.
I'm putting another van on road next year so it would be helpful to have a list of value for money suppliers.
Thanks.

I run Tucker but i use Gardiner Pole Systems alot.

Alex is very helpfull & knows what hes talking about. Kirsty is a diamond too. What i like about them is tell them ur requirements & they will give great advice & sell you what you need to do the job.

I would recommend them all the time.

YUP I agree Brett. Great guys James and his father. I had a customer who wanted a van system fitted desperately last week. I coudn't do it. Those guys bent over backwards. Working weekend to get the frame made and system assemled to fit for the customer. The customer is over the moon with his system from  X-line and all the help they gave him.

:)
yes this is a very good place to start!
I have found that it's a bit like my mothers shopping trips... as a kid being dragged from Liptons, Tesco's then the Butchers... blah blah blah!
Yes there are bargains to be had, but sometimes it just to much hassle!
Find one you like and stick with them!
I use Wintecs.co.uk,  free delivery on over £30  8)

Your best bet is to put together a complete list of what you need for your new system and get 3 reputable suppliers to quote you. You will gat a good package deal price and have 1 point of contact for back up etc. You will save yourself a lot of time and money this way.

I've used Varitec in Devon for backpack spares but thought they were a little expensive. I bought my last pole and other bits from Window cleaners warehouse.

Try ringing Joe at The Cleaning Warehouse Company, in Wolverhampton.

I was there on Friday afternoon, he has some good prices on Unger stuff, and a pleasant young chap to deal with.

His stocks are limited at the moment, but you might save on some items, to start with, and he's local'ish.

Tell him John, from Stone, passed his name on.

He's on 01902 307070
