Just got home and on my phone was: "Hello this is Mrs X from wherever, if you are the kind of windowcleaner who uses a ladder and a bucket then we will be interested in employing you" Couldn't resist it so i phoned her anyway. Apparently the last guy was wfp and cleaned her soffitts and gable ends but managed to destroy seven tiles in the process ???
Her husband sacked him and won't have wfp anywhere near his property again! I did reassure her that wfp is normally very good and how i couldn't understand how he could have done the damage. When the woman said "maybe he didn't know he had done it" it made me wonder if it was all true. Best to leave that customer well alone i think.

Very strange, more likely to cause damage with a ladder i would have thought.. especially in the wet and cold with it possible slipping.
Needed to use one today on slippy decking of all things.. i was lucky i had some rope to tie it up with and a non slip matt (which actually did not clip on the decking, but the rope was there in back up)..
Im normally wfp, but this job required scraping..
