just wondered what you think is best way to control flow of water, i used to have a valve and a back feed back into the tank, cheap as well but im now trying the flow coming out straight from tank into pole, its like a jetwash but very quick and does a good job and i just use alot more water but i think its worth it, what does anyone else use, anyone say what those vari stream things are like are they worth it and easy to install.
-
vrystem us note but bother by pass for me but not to tank back to just be for in let on pump
-
i think i get that
-
so who's been sniffing the hennesey then??
-
use a varistream...oh... do i have my pump in the wrong place ... its near the back door of my van , next to the varistream...
but i cant see any pumps on the van photo topics.... so i think they must be at side of tank. ;)
-
mine is near back door, is varistream worth it there exspensive, i use nothing and its fine
-
some swear by the... others dont use anything...
i like to control the flow, and i like the way they keep the water pressure the same at any height....
they around£80 ..
;)

Trigger on the pole
-
so who's been sniffing the hennesey then??
imao ;D ;D ;D
-
my jobs are alot quicker now, costs more in water but im doing more work will try it for another week or so and see if it saves me money £80 is alot to control the flow, i used to use just a valve, couple of quid i think it does more or less the same job (i think).
-
yea i have trigger as well saves water, but no control on flow
-
i use a varistream ,
and i think they are worth it,
control flow, saves wear and tear on pump, no pressure switch problems ( you dissconnect it) battery lasts longer.
trouble with a bypass is, pump runs at full throttle all the while.

Digital varistream from williamson pumps (GREAT) By-passes pressure switch on the pump making pump last much longer, also has boost for extra rinse and very slow if you want to save water, also comes in handy to put the pump on slow if you have old leaded light windows to do,slower the rinse there less chance of water leaking through these type of windows.
-
good points you make, i think i will get varistream, cheers for that
-
trigger on my pole?......no way i am letting him loose on that, he would just stand there all day calling me dave ::)
-
I use varistream & trigger on pole.
-
I try not to drink too much tea but am not far from either Asda or Homebase.

;D ;D ;D ;D me too.
-
I use nothing just on on off flow controller on my pole hose.
I have had varistream, didn't like it.
I have a bypass on my trolley and thats not to bad.
I did have triggers but went back to flow control valves as i prefer them.
Mine is just full flow all the time through 100mtrs of minibore and i find it perfect
-
by pass you dont have probs with preser sich as pume dont stop . the pume dus run all time but waslt pump must wher qiker it must be compensated by the fact that verystrem is not wearing out , ?????????????????
-
flowmaster saves me loads of water
-
I do not have a varistream ::) just a switch as you can see from the pic ;D
