today as I was filling my van with pure water. I checked my master tank to find loads of dead flies in it :o .. They must of got in when we had that strong wind as the cover of the tank was blown off .. I dont know how long the dead flies have been there but my TDS was 000 ;D
Whats worrying me is this .. Is my master tank turning into that plant from little shop of horrors not happy with pure water it now wants flesh ;D
has anybody else found strange things in thier tank ::)

:( Only green algae. I recycle rain-water, I used a 1000lt WHITE/CLEAR tank everything went green!
I still filtered it and it all came out clear and at 000tds
Only problem is/was It grows back even though its invisible to the naked eye!
I had to bleach out my pump (drastic) flush the system out, change resin (change filters obviously) none to pleased... never again!
Blacked out tank using thick plastic then encased in wooden tank box/cover (cheaper than buying a black tank (well I couldn't get recycled one).
No more algae! ;D ;D ;D
Yes I know... boring really... but no one else replied ;)
